I am an interdisciplinary artist working across sound, video, sculpture, photography, and writing. My practice is rooted in embodied methods such as walking, listening, and sensorial mapping, which I use to investigate how power structures, histories, and temporalities shape our perception of place and belonging. Through a process-based approach, I explore the interconnections between human and non-human bodies, organic and inorganic matter, and the ways they assemble to shape environments. This residency presents an opportunity to shift my research into a non-urban space, allowing me to explore alternative rhythms and relational dynamics beyond the structured pace of the city. My focus will be on examining the body's attunement to the environment, investigating its fluidity in relation to place through movement, sound, and material encounters. By working around the natural surroundings of the residency, I will engage in site-responsive practices that capture ephemeral gestures, acoustic landscapes, and the traces of bodily interactions with the local environment. During the residency, I will conduct listening walks, performative interventions with the landscape, and document sonic imprints and subtle environmental shifts. These explorations will be translated into visual and material compositions—drawings, sculptural assemblages, video, and sound works—formed through an iterative process of layering and reconfiguring the gathered elements within the studio space. After the residency, this body of work will extend into an evolving archive, holding new modes of engaging with place and the relational entanglements between bodies, landscapes, and sonic ecologies.
