I explore my relationship with everyday objects such as a burnt piece of rug, a strawberry bedsheet, socks, porcelain figures, and drawings. Each object carries a memory, a fragment of who I was and how I lived. These memories are translated constantly. I collect and assemble objects, then transform them into writing and audio. Translation here is not just about language but about converting, explaining, interpreting, and transferring experience from one form, state, or place to another. I pay attention to the infraordinary, the everyday life that often goes unnoticed, following the ideas of George Perec. In my work, small actions reveal memory and desire. For example, I framed socks I wanted to see because I could not use them otherwise. In Helsinki, I noticed the Alepa cups with cheerful faces in the streets, worn and dirty, which made me curious about their visibility and condition. These moments show how memory and objects interact and shape the way the world is inhabited. Takaisin apurahalistaukseen
