The event is organised every other year, in January, in Helsinki, with related events in other cities. Admission is free. The Science Forum is one of the oldest science events regularly held in Europe. We have been involved in organising the event since 2013. FORUM FOR ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION FORUM FOR ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION, founded in June 2010, aims to advance the transfer of timely environmental information and to increase interaction between the producers and users of information. The main objective is to support national policy-making, keeping in mind the global significance of environmental problems. Kone Foundation provided funding for the Forum 2014–2023. MEMBERSHIPS We are a member of The Association of Finnish Foundations which coordinates co-operation between grant providers. Its members follow the code of conduct Best Practice for Foundations. Ulla Tuomarla, CEO of Kone Foundation is a member of its Board of Directors. Kone Foundation is a member of Philea (Philanthropy Europe Association), an umbrella organisation that nurtures a diverse and inclusive ecosystem of foundations, philanthropic organisations and networks in over 30 countries that work for the common good.
