General grant advice sessions

All the general grant advice sessions are fully booked. However, you can follow them live on the Kone Foundation’s Facebook page.

Thursday 31.8. at 9–11 The focus is on the thematic funding call Ecological compensations in society and culture. Minna Pekkonen will tell about the Ecosystem Hotel project.

Kone Foundation executive director Anna Talasniemi and head of research funding Kalle Korhonen will offer information on the application process. Participants can also ask questions about applying a grant.

The event will be held in Finnish.

Wednesday 6.9. at 9:30–11

What kinds of projects receive support from the Kone Foundation? How can research and art be combined in projects; and what about multidisciplinarity and margins? Kone Foundation executive director Anna Talasniemi and head of research funding Kalle Korhonen will offer information on the application process. Participants can also ask questions about applying a grant. The language of the event is English.

The session is full but it will be streamed online on the Kone Foundation’s Facebook page.

Thursday 7 September at 16–18 The focus is on the thematic funding call Neighbour dialogues. Ilkka Arminen will tell about the Know your neighbour project.

Personal grant advice

Prospective grant applicants and those already receiving funding from the foundation will be able to book a 20-minute personal or 10-minute telephone meetings to discuss funding with Executive director Anna Talasniemi (grants for arts and culture) or Head of funding affairs Kalle Korhonen (grants for research and popularising research).
