I mainly work with various forms of texts, poetry, and typographic elements. The results can take the form of performance, video, music, written text, computer software or something completely different for the Saari Residence I am thinking of some projects i might do:

• create very minimal songs with only a few acoustic elements and a handful of words repeated over and over
• research a way to create a new form of electronic sound poetry that involves programming software
• write a (performance) text that reflects the state of permanent crisis we seem to be in at the moment
• write poems about my experiences at Saari and turn them into typographic art works, maybe also videos

jörg piringer was born 1974. Currently living in Vienna, Austria. Member of the institute for transacoustic research. Member of the vegetable orchestra. Master degree in computer science.
Works as a freelance artist and researcher in the fields of electronic music, radio art, sound and visual electronic poetry, interactive collaborative systems, online communities, live performance, sound installation, computer games and video art.
