Residency artists and researchers Media and video art Heli Konttinen Artist Hiekkalaatikko teoria” (The Sandpit Theory) is a long-term project I’ve been working on, and I will continue developing it during my stay at the Saari Residence. Along with video I work with photos, sculpture, installations, performance, and text. The Sandpit Theory is also cross-disciplinary, and used gentle humour to explore intolerance and human ontology, what it is that makes us what we are.
