The Open Call for Bold Makers events is open!

Kone Foundation’s Bold Makers events offer grantees an opportunity to arrange events open to the public at Lauttasaari Manor and to bring art and research to wider audiences. Apply by 31 March!

Many of our grantees have inquired about the possibility to host public events at Lauttasaari Manor. The answer is yes, and this will be possible through next autumn’s Bold Makers events, to be held on 30 September and 1 October.

Please submit this form by Tuesday, 31 March to explain what type of event, in relation to your project, you would like to organise at the manor. We will make the selections in April, after which you can plan your event in cooperation with the Foundation. We will inform applicants about the selection by email.

For events, the Foundation offers a freely adaptable space at Lauttasaari Manor for a maximum of 80 people. This space is disabled accessible and is well equipped with audio-visual technology. The aim of the Bold Makers events is to make the work of our grantees known to the general public. The type of events you can arrange is wide-open: you can organise, for example, seminars, discussions, book launches and other events for which the premises are suitable.
