The Night of Science will be organized completely online on Thursday, 20 January

The Night of Science is a block party for science and research. It is celebrated annually in Helsinki. The program is made by many different organizations and actors and the multiple events offer science and research in many different forms.

Due to the coronavirus situation, all of the events are organized online. The Natural History Museum and Kaisaniemi Botanic Garden are open until 10 pm, but there are no guided tours.

The online events of the Night of Science will be streamed to a common platform in Liveto, where the audience can easily move from one event to another. The Liveto platform of the Night of Science opens on the day of the event. Login is required in Liveto. We recommend that the audience log in with an anonymous username.

The Night of Science is organized by the Federation of Finnish Learned Societies. Kone Foundation is funding the event.
