News Saari Residence 04.10.2018 Decorating the Christmas tree Share: In autumn 2012, the Saari Residence Community Artist Pia Bartsch’s workshops produced decorations for the Mynämäki Library’s Christmas tree as well as teddy bears and other Christmassy decorations for the residents of Lizeliuskoti nursing home. The beautifully decorated Christmas tree was on display at the library until the Second Advent. From Monday December 17th onward, library visitors were also able hang their own creations and take home a present from the Christmas tree in exchange. On January 13th (Nuutinpäivä), the tree’s decorations were donated to Mynämäki retirement homes.
