Log in Share: Back to Grants listing Application summary The project is a video installation exploring the relationship between human and nature, our coexistence with other species and the influence of human activities on natural habitats. It will offer perspectives on the audible state of wildlife and the broader question of human impact on the environment. The work will be based mostly on documentary footage of nature and wildlife combined with fictional soundscape composed from various natural and man-made sounds. Project report summary The project is a multi-channel video installation exploring the relationship between human and nature, our coexistence with other species and the influence of human activities on natural habitats. The work investigates the interaction between wild animals and humans and examine the implications for our mutual coexistence. It reflects on the people’s desire to encounter and communicate with their non-human neighbors in the wilderness and at the same time it relates to the human disturbing interference in the environment. The video installation is based mostly on documentary footage of nature and wildlife combined with multi-layered soundscape composed from various natural and man-made sounds. Back to Grants listing
