Original Album of Cello and Voice Music: Kaamos

Application summary

I will create and release a 4-movement album that showcases my original compositions for cello and voice. This album will serve as a vivid portrayal of my experiences during the Finnish winter since my return to Finland four years ago, after living in Australia from the ages of three until twenty-three. I have chosen the title 'Kaamos' for this album, and the four movements are named 'Kaamos,' 'Usva,' 'Savu,' and 'Valo.' Even though I have spent most of my life abroad, I have always felt such a strong connection to Finland as my birthplace, and this project has somehow helped me to identify with Finland even more strongly.
