In the general funding call, funding can be applied for research in humanities, social sciences and environmental sciences, as well as artistic research. We also fund artistic work in all fields of art, and multidisciplinary projects between art and research. The funding decisions are guided by the central values defined in Kone Foundation’s strategy. The focuses in funding are academic and artistic freedom, ecosocial awareness, perseverance, diversity, boldness, sense of community and truth.
