Yhdistys hallinnoi nykytaidetila Titanikia sekä kansainvälistä, äänitaiteeseen keskittyvää taiteilijaresidenssiä. Näyttely- ja residenssitoiminnan lisäksi Titanikissa järjestetään säännöllisesti avoimia yleisötapahtumia, kuten lukupiirejä, performansseja ja konsertteja. Koneen Säätiön erityisrahoitus kohdentuu taiteilijoiden palkkoihin, kutsunäyttelyiden tuotantokustannuksiin, vierailevien kuraattoreiden ja osa-aikaisen tuottajan palkkaan sekä laitteiston uudistukseen. Project report summary The aims of the funding application in 2021 were to critically engage with the whiteness of Titanik's programming and to transition into a multi-voiced space of enquiry which has the space to reflect on a wide range of perspectives in relation to art and the world in which it exists. This was realised with a focus on bringing in voices from marginalised communities through our open call and invitational programming and hosting a variety of performances and events together with our local, national and international collaborations. In addition to that the funding was to be dedicated to enhance and expand the functions and capacities of the organisation and help create fairer working conditions for our artists and collaborators via allocating resources to the following: 1) Artists’ fees - open call 2) Artists’ fees - invitational exhibitions and production costs of invitational exhibitions 3) Curator’s salary (invitational exhibitions) 4) Producer’s salary 5) Equipment upgrade 6) Titanik Library Back to Grants listing
