This research examines these foundational yet overlooked aspects of sustainability, focusing on the values, visions, and narratives that guide societal orientations, behavior, and decision-making. It aims to (1) explore how collective aspirations and citizens’ goals can be redefined toward sufficiency and sustainable well-being and inform aligned policies and practices (2) contribute to sufficiency research by introducing novel arts-based approaches (3) assess the transformative potential and scalability of arts-based practices in fostering growth-independent societal transitions. By integrating creative approaches, the study explores how emotional, aesthetic, and reflective engagement can shift societal visions and aspirations, supporting sufficiency-based, sustainable wellbeing-centered paradigms.
