New works on the culture trail

In May 2026, two new works were added to the Culture Trail near Saari Residence.

Writer and scenographer Salli Kari’s work, The Residency Box, drew inspiration from the birdboxes in the area and playfully reflects on the relationship between artists and the local audience.

Interdisciplinary artist Tianjun Li’s Anonymous Tides is a site-specific installation exploring ecological fragility by blending Greenlandic glacier imagery with a soundscape from field recordings made during the residency, accessible on your phone via the work’s tag.

The works will be on display on the Culture Trail between the manor and the seaside meadow for approximately one year, from May 2026 to May 2027.
