Finite existence and infinite yearning (working title)

Application summary

This project builds on my recent solo exhibition to develop new sculptural installations and video works for future exhibitions. My practice examines the psychological and spiritual toll of alienating work under capital labor relations, questioning the collective need for the transcendental and the immaterial. Using reclaimed factory materials, field recordings, and devotional symbolism, the work highlights the spiritual damage caused by working conditions and reflects on the deepening wound to our collective psyche. The 12-month plan includes immersive research, intensive production of sculptures and video works, sound design, and finalizing a cohesive body of work for exhibition proposals.
