Where can you find support when you no longer have the strength to cope? In this webinar, you will hear about good practices and discuss mental wellbeing with other grant recipients. The session will explore occupational wellbeing, recovery, and strengthening mental health in grant-funded work under the guidance of psychologist, Doctor of Psychology Anniina Virtanen, and visual artist (MA) and Mental Health First Aid® (Mielenterveyden ensiapu® ) instructor Kirsi-Marja Moberg. Participants will receive practical tips for preventing challenges related to coping and advice on where to seek help when it is needed. Between the presentations, participants will take part in small-group discussions. The purpose of these discussions is to enable the sharing of experiences. As the topic is sensitive, share only what feels comfortable to you. The event will be held on Zoom. A participation link will be sent to registered participants before the event. Each theme follows this structure: 25 minutes of presentation by the facilitator, 20 minutes of small group discussion, and 20 minutes of wrap-up discussion. The times are approximate. Since the purpose of the event is also to share experiences, we hope that all participants will take part in the small group discussions. If you are unable to join the small group discussions, please inform us in advance. The language of the event is English. Speakers Anniina Virtanen is a psychologist and senior specialist from Finnish Institute of Occupational Health. She has a PhD in psychology, and her dissertation focused on recovery from work stress. Kirsi-Marja Moberg is a visual artist (MA) and poet who has worked on culture and mental health initiatives at The Finnish Association for Mental Health. She is also a licensed Mental Health First Aid® instructor.
