Do you ever wonder how journalists could find your research topic and become interested in your expertise? Want to learn how to communicate with reporters in a way that raises their interest? We provide our research grant recipients with the opportunity to join the Kuka network, a fast and easy way to raise the visibility of research topics in the Finnish media.
Through Kuka, you can provide journalists with new insights and perspectives and write pitches, i.e. short scripts that journalists find catchy. The Kuka network includes over 1,500 experts and journalists. For example, Kuka is used by publications such as Helsingin Sanomat, Yle, Kauppalehti, Aamulehti, Kaleva, Karjalainen and Tekniikka&Talous.
We will arrange free training on how to use Kuka on Friday 9 February at 9.30am-12.30pm at Kamari (Kone Foundation’s project space, Tehtaankatu 21 B 45). This training will be organised in English.
Sign up below by February 7th. There are only enough places for the first 30 who sign up.
