21.08.2019

The Kone Foundation’s next grant application round will take place in September 2019. What do bold initiatives in art and research look like? How do you transfer your idea for a project onto paper? What are ecological encounters and how can one apply for funding for them? Our grant info on 21 August will provide grant applicants with tips on how to develop and formulate their ideas before applying.

Time and place: Wednesday, 21 August, from 3 to 5 pm, Lauttasaari Manor (Otavantie 10, Helsinki, obstacle-free entrance via Kauppaneuvoksentie)

The grant info held in August will focus on issues relating to the general application process, as well as on the special application round intended for Kone Foundation grantees, with the purpose of encouraging ecological encounters.

Kone Foundation grantees, Doctor of Science in Economics Galina Kallio and director Juha Huuskonen (HIAP) will share their experiences of applying for the grant. Concerning the special funding call, Glue Collaboration – specialised in virtual meetings –  will tell about encounters that are environmentally responsible. Also, Kone Foundation’s Executive Director Anna Talasniemi will talk about the Foundation’s grants and Director of Research Kalle Korhonen about how the Foundation supports research. There will also be time for questions at the event.

The event will be held in English.  Sign up for the event here.

The event will also be streamed online on Kone Foundation’s Facebook page.
