Time and place: Thursday, 4 April, from 1 to 4 pm, Lauttasaari Manor (Otavantie 10, Helsinki, obstacle-free entrance via Kauppaneuvoksentie)

Creativity incubators offer you the chance to pause for a moment and reflect on your work and they joys, challenges, emotions and successes it brings, together with other scientists and artists. This meeting is a workshop that promotes collaboration between art and research. What are the challenges presented by work that incorporates art and research? What good can it do, what lessons does it teach? What are the problems that can arise and how are they resolved? When is cooperation between art and research successful? How do we achieve equality between the different roles? The workshop is run by Virpi Haavisto who specialises in supporting the work of creative professionals. The workshop on the 4 April will be introduced by PhD Raisa Foster, the director of the project ‘Art-Eco‘, which was funded by Kone Foundation 2015–17.  The project investigated through art practice what empathetic-ecological humanity could be like. The creativity incubator meeting will be held in English.

Sign up for the event here. NB! Only the Kone Foundation grant recipients are allowed to participate in the event.
