What kind of influence did the German philosopher and Lutheran theosophist Jacob Böhme have on the visual arts, Christian mysticism, and literature? Join us for an Esoteric Evening and explore these questions together with the Seekers of the New Research Project. Welcome aboard!

Time and place: Wednesday 6 November, 5 pm – 8:30 pm, Lauttasaari Manor (Otavantie 10, Helsinki, accessible entrance from Kauppaneuvoksentie)

What kind of influence did the German philosopher and Lutheran theosophist, Jakob Böhme (1575–1624), have on the visual arts, Christian mysticism and literature? The Seekers of the New Research Project offers you the film The Life and Legacy of Jakob Böhme, directed by Łukasz Chwałko. The film screening is followed by a discussion on the role of Jacob Böhme with the Director Łukasz Chwałko, Independent Researcher Tomas Mansikka, and Doctoral Researcher Antti Harmainen (Tay) who is a member of the Seekers of the New Research Project. The event is hosted by Dr Marja Lahelma from the Seekers of the New.
